Food Vendors 2017

Food vendors at Choochokam Arts are a big hit with out festival-goers, and we love to hear from new vendors who want to participate. We try to limit the number of food vendors to 12 -15 in order to assure profitability. We also strive to have more than 10 vendors in an attempt to offer a variety of festival favourites.

If you are a food vendor, gourmet food truck operator, caterer or chef that would like to sell food at the 2017 Choochokam Music & Arts Festival, please contact Choochokam Arts at [email protected] or call 360-322-4822 if you haven’t been a part of the festival in the past. All potential vendors need to complete and submit the Vendor Application. Applications are due not later than June 1, 2017, but spaces are very limited and many are already reserved for 2017, so if you have an interest be sure to apply right away!

Entry Fees

As in the past, the Standard $430 entry fee provides a 10’ by 10’ booth space. Booth spaces of 15’ by 10’ and 20’ by 10’ are also available for an additional charge. Charges are outlines on the application form below.

• $  80 for 120 volt 15 amp service
• $125 for 120 volt 15 amp lines, and
• $125 for 240 volt 30 amp service.

In addition to fees for the booth and electrical service, you are required to purchase a site usage fee for $30.00 from the District Parks Commission. You will recevie that permit as part of you application process, and will see the fee as a line item in your invoice.

Along with information about the size of your booth, we will need to know your electrical requirements. As you will see on the application form below, electrical power is available at an additional cost.

Booth Location & Set-Up

The Festival committee will assign food booth locations based upon several criteria, including booth presentation, similarity of food products, space requirements and electrical needs. Food vendors will abide by loading and unloading procedures as prescribed by the Choochokam Makers + Music Festival (CAF),  South Whidbey Fire District and the District Parks Commission.

Each booth with an electric hook-up must provide a 50 foot, #12 or heavier extension cord to connect to the distribution panel. Booths using 240 volt services must have cords with a 30 or 50 amp plug. Please make sure to list all of your electrical requirements on your application to ensure adequate distribution of power to your booth. All equipment, including trailers must be contained within your booth space.

To apply as a food vendor, please complete the form below and we’ll contact you within 7 working days to confirm space and set up your electrical needs.
