Perform at Choochokam 2016

Choochokam Arts has celebrated the creation and performance of original art, both visual art and musical performances, for 39 years, and in 2016 we’ll be celebrating our 41st Anniversary!

As such, all applications for entertainment are juried and must be original. Musical performers must own rights to all works to be performed, this is strictly enforced–cover bands are not eligible to apply.

Choochokam Arts chooses bands from a variety of genres, both established and up-and-coming. Applicants are judged on a variety of criteria, including but not limited to: genre, size, price, technical ability, originality and creativity. While Whidbey Island based performers are given priority, musicians from the Northwest region including, WA, OR, Northern California and Vancouver, BC, are encourage to apply.

If you are interested in performing at Choochokam 2016, you’ll need to provide samples of your music that accurately represents your LIVE performance sound not just studio produced sound. MP3 files are preferred to physical CDs. If you send a CD–REMOVE the shrink wrap!  Musicians, bands and entertainers will be notified of acceptance no later than May 1, 2016. If accepted compensation will be negotiated at the time of acceptance.
